Online casinos try to win customers with the promise of glamour and riches wrapped up in some Las Vegas pretence. Virgin Casino on the other hand is a bit different. Preferring to concentrate on the fun of gambling, we wanted to give a glimmer of the Virgin Casino personality through the advertising.
Our solution was to show a silly interpretation of words usually found in casinos like STAND, SPIN, ALL IN and DOUBLE DOWN. We used the Perrier-nominated comic ensemble ‘Dutch Elm Conservatoire’ to act out a series of different reactions that are triggered when someone interacts with the ad.
A simple, but endearing act that brings a sense of playfulness to Virgin Casino in an otherwise cliché-ridden category.
