The Music House label needed some visual standout on their new releases to cut through the ocean of competition within KPM’s vast roster of in-house music library labels.
Inspiration was taken from 1950s and 1960s minimalism, exploring how muted colour and abstract shape can visually represent instrumentation and sound of musical genres. By combining a distinctive diagonal feature alongside a simple typeface we created an engaging and unusual flavour to the collection as a whole. Another collaborative effort with DLT.
