Friends of the Earth needed some help to raise awareness of Britain’s declining bee population.
So to help our little humble bumbles we devised an app idea called The Great British Bee Count
The hybrid app encouraged everyone to log the bees they saw, as well as offering useful tips on ways to attract new bees into our gardens.
The campaign stopped 150 short of 100,000 bee sightings – 3-times over the predicted figures.
